Then they just let out pre-recorded videos, like during the later half of the election. Maybe they just have no confidence or think it would be too risky to do an operation like that.
@cidoku There ARE many changes, they may not be improvements to you but it is exploration. Since 2010 there has been rogue-like games, MOBAs, battle royales, survival games, etc. You may not like those genres, and I'm not the biggest fan of them, but it they can be made into things you enjoy with enough creativity.
Different styles of storytelling, with games like The Witcher 3 being a very good example in my opinion.
The most promising area I'm still looking forward to is integration with cryptocurrencies and NFTs, which is what I've been looking into with Axie Infinity mostly.
You need to look beyond the most mediocre "popular" stuff. If people only looked at the top 100 most popular music of the last decade they would say that the medium is soulless and awful as well, but that doesn't tell the whole story.

@cidoku Yeah, it's similar to how I don't get why some people are so into music. If I come across songs I enjoy I'll save them, and for a musician I really like I'll look for other stuff they made. But I never really wanted to explore the potential of music as a medium. I don't really care about the boundaries of it. I really do for games, and to a slightly lesser extent for anime and manga.
It's okay to have a passing interest in something, or to not like what the mainstream is. The people who want to explore a medium to its fullest extent are the vast minority in anything, and you can't really be that way for everything. So people just focus on what resonates with them the most and stay with that comfort zone.

@cidoku Arcade games offer extremely low freedom, which is why I tend to not enjoy them. I enjoy games that let me explore and experience unique things.

@cidoku You probably just don't get why some people enjoy games. Breath of the Wild is one of the best games I've played, despite all its flaws. The field of games still has so much untapped potential, it's just that most modern companies aren't tapping into that.
I wish Bandai Namco would announce that the new Idolmaster game would be coming out in English.
Somebody should create a new AI chatbot that takes input like that Microsoft Tay one did. I assume there are some already, but I don't know them
@Shadowman311 Boxers seem to have very good rationality. They have to content with physical force, mentally reading the opponent, staying fit and healthy, etc. They don't need to have the most intelligence per se, but deep intuition and understanding of their surroundings.
@shibao FBI should send their best agents, because the stuff that gets posted might actually change their minds and lead to them rebelling against the system from within
@dead What I have been doing is scrolling down my timeline so it doesn't auto-update and then reading the posts made in the meantime. I used to do this on twitter too, until I had to read through hundreds of them. At some point I just read the most recent 30 or so and then the new ones as they come in
@Shadowman311 Youtube also messed up embedded stuff in element/matrix for me. It used to show the title of the video but now it just says "Sign in before you continue"
