@moth_ball A lot of the costumes can look pretty silly, but once you get into it you get over that I think. The more modern ones obviously have less practical effects, but those are cool to see in some of the really old stuff

@icedquinn @fiddle Pen tablets have very finicky drivers, even on windows. I always end up with problems with them in one way or another, but not having them at all is definitely worse

One thing Chinese companies will do is try pretty hard to hide that they are from China on their company website.

I bought some underwear from a brand called David Archy and they're quite good, but from the unusual spelling "Archy" which nobody would come up with in English I knew it was Chinese.

Their website talks about selling in United States and Europe, but the only indication you'd get that it was Chinese is they talk about "the well-known domestic fabric brand Tianzhu Bamboo Fiber"

@fiddle @icedquinn It was originally Japanese but has been bought by Chinese. I have one and it's pretty good, but not perfect

I want to get back into game development, now that I have at least some source of decent income. I just know that I don't have the patience to do a big project. I might just want to make some minigames first

@merchantHelios @ChocosLoveMcDonalds @LouisConde @borzoi There are many of them in China. I don't know much about them either. I believe most of them are earthen and mud mounds, similar to kurgans in Europe, but some of them have flat tops which indicates they would have had a capstone. Many of them have trees planted on top to cover them up. Or otherwise they just put up a plaque which may or may not be accurate.
