@Fiddle I'm very sensitive to bitter tastes. I believe I'm one of those "supertasters" that has more taste buds than normal but I haven't tested it. Every single carbonated water I've drank by itself has been extremely bitter to the point that I can't drink it.

@Fiddle Carbonated water alone is AWFUL. It's way too bitter. I can't stand drinking coffee and tea either.

I've been trying to make my own homemade sodas with syrup and sparking water and it's been pretty good. I'd love to make my own syrups too but that seems like a lot more work

Communism is explicitly anti-family, and is the most direct opponent of it as a concept. Despite that, Stalinism was forced to adopt elements and at least the veneer of a family, which ends up being like having an abusive and reluctant father.
Libertarianism is against it as well, with the idea that everybody is supposed to be a sovereign individual that has to fend on their own within a greater system.
Many Religions also place themselves above family, declaring that their holy edicts are more important than the relationship between parents and children.
Mussolini's Fascism and National Socialism were attempts to reform government into a family on the basis of defending their own peoples.
Liberalism is a family of a single mother, or a widower where the father has been replaced by a foreigner.
