@mkultra The original Xenoblade had a really good dub, I didn't really like the dub of 2 as much.

@loghdub The movie was trying to be more dramatic and philosophical I think, which is good but I didn't have much to think about. The animation was beautiful though, especially the opening with invisibility in the water.
SAC goes more into near future real life politics and does things quite well. The characters had a lot more of an energetic personality than the movie, which I think is more of how the original manga was too.

@loghdub I wasn't a big fan of the original movie but I enjoyed Stand Alone Complex quite a bit, even if the politics and details can get a bit overwhelming.
