What I see as the decline of Western society went like this:
Allowing subversive elements, namely ⭕'s, into society and letting them first take positions of power over money. Then over news, education, and entertainment.
Then you have the emancipation of all women and lower status men. Because these groups rely more on consensus to make decisions this increases the power of news, education, and entertainment to create narratives and guide the masses. It undermines democracies of their intended purposes.
Democracy in the modern sense means the people who can most manipulate and influence the general masses controls society.
This is what has led to the cult of democracy and cult of equality. Because those manipulative elements use democracy to give lower status people rewards they otherwise would not have. (Bioleninism).
When you want what you deserve you ask for justice, when you want more than you deserve you ask for equality.
Due to these the push becomes racial. In America first it was with Blacks because they were brought over by the slave ships. Once their "equality" and voting was ensured then the floodgates began to be opened in 1965 with the Hart-Celler act. Now anybody can become "equal" and a member of democracy. Meaning they will do what the subversive elements in power tell them to in order to raise their standard of living and satisfy their immediate desires.
Next comes the "equality" for homosexuals, giving them better treatment and rewards they otherwise would not have had. This was only recently and they already moved onto transgenderism as the next stage of the same drive of equality.
In this sense "equality" never really means being given equal opportunity, it means being given better outcomes. Which people now call "equity" as well. This is because you cannot raise one group up without paying the expense somewhere else.
If you ask the average person if they support democracy and equality and as long as they say yes, this will continue.
There will have to be a moral shift away from these two cults to fundamentally repair society into a positive and healthy state.
