If you sell a person something you can only get money if it breaks and they buy repairs or a new one. Under rentals you have infinite amounts of profit and far more control over the people.

@RacistReimu Yeah it's the evolution of that kind of ideology. It has similar end goals, but a more effective and dangerous means to attain them. Instead of bloody revolution it's a slow and gradual taking away of things people have to turn them into slaves.
