Jus soli is one of the most awful practices that has just been accepted in North America. It's the concept of "birthright citizenship"
It does not matter if the people visiting the country have little to no care for it in the slightest, the baby they give birth to will be given citizenship for being born there.

Dual citizenship in general is a horrible practice as well, but that at least makes some sense in terms of relations between different countries. No government officials should have any dual citizenship.
