@wizardyuuka @qwerty That reminds me that this is the logo for Monster Hunter Rise, which is quite nice

@wizardyuuka I never really had a main before world, but in World I mained hammer, and did a lot of that in Rise too. I've also played dual blades a lot.

They changed Hunting Horn a lot in Rise, so it's a lot more popular now. It almost feels like a different weapon though.

I haven't even tried fighting Alatreon or Fatalis in World because they just made a lot of those endgame monsters annoying to fight.

It sounds like the G rank expansion for Rise will be coming out on PC at the same time as Switch which should be nice. It's a really good game! The movement mechanics are really nice with the wirebugs and dogs.

@wizardyuuka Well with Rise they have some customization so you can swap out some moves depending on the weapon. I never use the A attacks with the hammer (the big bang attack, which can be changed for that guard point). They added a second type of charge attacks which are really fun though. The final charge becomes a jump slam instead of the spin.

And yeah it does get a bit repetitive doing the same stuff over and over. I need to take long breaks or else I just get burnt out playing the endgame monsters.

@wizardyuuka Well in Generations the styles pretty much change the whole moveset, but in Rise it's just one or two attacks you can swap. Usually it's a wirebug move which have cooldowns, but some of them are the normal moves too.

I wish there was a roguelike kind of mode in one of the games, that would work really well with Monster Hunter I think
