@cirnog He may as well be saying "The medical institution objectively is improving technically in the field of baby murder" which is also true, but does not mean it's something good in the slightest.

@cirnog @Aether @basadeskaiser I will when Christians start telling stories better than the Japanese. The only one that stands out in my mind is Lord of the Rings.

@cirnog @Aether @basadeskaiser The problems generally is that Christian stories and entertainment come off very heavy handed in their message. They are intended to teach just as much if not more than to be enjoyed, which is admirable but not necessarily fun to watch.
I enjoyed Veggie Tales as a kid, but wouldn't watch it over something like Pokemon of course.
The early Disney movies could be considered the best balance between teaching morality and making it enjoyable. Most of the early Japanese creators like Osamu Tezuka and Shigeru Miyamoto used Disney as a direct inspiration after all.

@Aether @basadeskaiser @cirnog Of course. The general American public not only allowed Jewish people to buy up things like movie studios, book publishers, and record labels, but didn't mind that they were creating a monopoly.
Any success that stimulates the American public's emotions is an exception and not the rule.

@Bunny @Aether @basadeskaiser @cirnog It is admirable to want to teach people. The only question is how you do that.
