Not all freedom is good, and not all control is bad.

In the pursuit of ultimate equality they no longer care about freedom.

@LukeAlmighty @TheVeryLutheranHousewife @Reanne13 @Aviz @icedquinn @dubh If you put freedom as the ideal you seek to strive towards you are always going to be pushing closer and closer to allowing freedom of acts that undermine your authority, your freedom, and the everybody's freedom overall.
This is why America allowed themselves to be controlled by people who do not care about freedom.

Trying to give people freedom as your goal is like giving a random child many sharp metal implements. Sure, they may construct a tool and be useful, or hurt themselves, or they can stab you in the back.

@LukeAlmighty So you also see freedom only as a means to an end, not the goal in and of itself. That's good, but if you idolize freedom, others won't get the same picture.
The left sees freedom as a means of achieving True Equality, by means of causing the worse off people to usurp the better off indefinitely.
