The only thing I disagree with is I can not see anyone actually wanting to go overseas and fighting Russia.
If they actually do it, and fail, it will be the end of (((American))) hegemony overnight because we've been shown to be incapable of backing up our finger-wagging and saber-rattling with military force.
Most American male citizens of conscription age are not fit for combat at all, most American citizens in general are complete washouts. Drone warfare doesn't substitute boots on the ground for controlling/defending territory. We will use mercenaries (or, as the euphemism goes, "Private Military Contractors"), and there will not be enough of them, and they will just die because lol you're a mercenary and you're despised by everyone, even more so due to you serving the Great Satan.

that seems optimistic. thinking it's over. one of the basic mechanisms of control is unpredictability. an abuser doesn't maintain control by always restricting and being violent. they alternate between being nice and slapping around. we're entering a "being nice" phase which will probably last until after the election.

@lichelordgodfrey @rlier23 Yeah one of the biggest parts of warfare is being able to hold positions. Drones and cameras can't do that. You need competent people to actually take up that space.
Like Putin has said, the next thing they will have to plan for is the fall of the American Empire. It's just too overextended for the quality of their leadership and capabilities.
