@elliemortem i tried several server alternatives but the documentation was just incomprehensible to me
@elliemortem the only one i could set up was snikket but you have to do some weird stuff to use it with caddy, so i just gave up, Coyote was the one to set the waifuism one, if one day it fails and a reboot doesn't fix it i have no idea what I'll do lmao
@waifu I I tried Tigase but the version they gave in the repositories is buggy. Then I tried ejabberd, it is a bit complicated with too many options, but it is powerful and I think is worth the effort. It has the option to manage multiple domains and it is not "so" complicated to set up the clusters (even thou I haven't succeeded in that), but yes, it has too much documentation and I think I will take the time to read it calmly.

@waifu @elliemortem prosody is okay but i don't have much reason to use it.
@icedquinn @elliemortem that's the one we're using, but i couldn't understand a thing in the docs, it's complete gibberish to me. I really rather start from scratch with snikket next time if something happens
