After some time I finally decided to use tor on my main machine, it was easier than expected. Now I can bypass my university network and download/seed torrents with a whopping 1.6 MiB/s.
I will probably use it for my everyday traffic from now on. Sadly my irl fingerprint is not perfect so they can probably link me with this shithole and every other account.
Hope the info that they have won't be permanent and eventually my internet persona will be free of association with real life.
