@meso these ones have 2gb of RAM i just want them to write and maybe browse fedi or edit my website code could it run those?
@meso i mean it already runs w7 fine it's low spec yeah but it doesn't mean it can't run nothing i guess, i was thinking of installing mint if that doesn't work Lubuntu and if that fails i guess I'll give netbsd a try, or maybe install it on the small machine

@captain_arepa the small one can only support 32 bits but the other one can run 64, I've seen them on mercadolibre running w10????
@grillchen yeah i have used Linux a bit already but i always stick with debian

@elliemortem I already installed debian on that one, I'm still deciding what DE to use since KDE works but runs very slowly
@waifu do you have an SSD or a hard drive for the system?, if it is the latter probably that's the problem. You could try xfce if you want something lighter

@elliemortem hmmm right right i have a hard drive, the one it came with, but it's a sata hard drive from what I found yesterday I think i have one laying around that i should be able to use
