@RikaDerufu Don't be angry at the concept of the rainbow, it's just one more thing that was stolen
@kaia @AnonymousBosch @Insomnolant Yeah "Anglo" basically means Danish or north German, which happened after Roman involvement

@nonetrix Just use waterfox or some other fork of it. You're always going to be benefiting some company, but I'd rather not assist mozilla at least
@muderfudder That's why it's most evident with jokes. There is a certain air of wanting to have fun, but being afraid of having too much fun. So they back away from anything of real value and stay in a safe place that they know is okay. The real "echo chamber" is inside your own head.
None of the people like that scare me in the least. Of course they are capable of causing harm, but they will never truly leave those enclosures. It's like looking at a chained up animal.

I have a very powerful pronoun sense. That is, the feeling that somebody has pronouns in their bio on something like twitter. In some ways I'm glad for the trend because it has tested and sharpened my senses of pattern recognition.
When they make a joke or post an image it is the most apparent. The lines of thought that are so devoid of substance, so afraid of being hurt. There is a special kind of insulation that surrounds them.
You would also be surprised at the kind of people who are right on the cusp. They might not have pronouns now, but in a years time they may. You can sense the small glimmer of light out of them that is fading away.
It's almost like a cry for help. They are begging people to come and set them straight. They will talk about how they hate their life, constantly depressed, with nobody to depend on. But if somebody comes who does want to, they will lash out with all the force they can muster. Like a cat being bathed, or having its nails clipped.
All in all I hope people who are seeking that kind of suffering get what they are asking for.

@elliemortem wh
@Shadowman311 His situation was definitely the template for the MeToo stuff in general.
@basadeskaiser Of course

@D-Droid @WoodshopHandman Yes, they don't want people moving between cities without explicit government knowledge and consent. The fact that you can use an untraceable vehicle and not need something like a phone as a tracking device means that the current state of things is a threat to them.
@amnesiac I guess that would make you half-ogre at least
@11112011 The whole idea that an economy "needs" inflation or that deflation is awful is a powerful piece of propaganda. They never aim for a 0% inflation rate, they aim for 2% because they think that's the best amount they can get away with.
@RacistReimu @WoodshopHandman @borzoi @cqi I suggest watching this channel, it inspired me to get into leatherworking recently and I've made a bit so far.

@RacistReimu @WoodshopHandman @borzoi @cqi Leather itself is actually somewhat cheap, it's mostly the amount of labour that gives a handmade leather item its cost.
@grey Gura really is an apex predator
@DK_Dharmaraj I enjoy LotR but I very much dislike the idea "absolute power corrupts absolutely"
No, corrupt people are drawn to power. The more power the more corrupt people want it. That's all the more reason to use it well.
