@Xeraser I've only watched Vinny and Joel and they're both leftists, or at least don't know much actual history and politics. They've been self-censoring themselves a lot more lately, and as "comedians" that means less funny jokes.
Routinely they simply have to go back to the same jokes they know people like instead of try something new and potentially offensive.

@Misato I don't have much pride in my country of Canada either, but that's because the people who run the government hate me and my people. I think that's the case in many countries.
It's far better to think about the people that you love, and do what you can to help them.

@Misato You should, there are very many things to be proud of with Japan. Of course it's easy to see that at a distance when I can see the problems of my own society up close. Things become a lot easier once you can recognize the root sources of your problems. 日本万歳

@D-Droid @WoodshopHandman Women can be pretty bad at pattern recognition and critical thinking. Normally when somebody thinks they "figured out" the pattern they get used to it and get bored, but if they don't then it just sort of mentally traps them in a loop they won't escape from.
