It's really striking how some people (liars) will say "Oh nobody can define what Critical Race Theory is!" but as soon as you start talking about Critical Theory and the Frankfurt school start busting out "They're not cultural marxists or communists, Judeo-Bolshevism is just a conspiracy theory!"

I have not been able to sleep well lately at all. At least I don't have to wake up early for anything so I can just have naps when I need to though

@irie Oh how interesting, I haven't heard of that idea before.
It would make a lot of sense if Rome was founded by a Greek nobility that gradually integrated into the general Italian populace. Many of Europe's nobilities trace themselves back to Troy.
I had heard the idea that Latin was created as a business language, but the idea that it would have been a business language more specifically for Italians that did not want to write Greek also makes plenty of sense.

@EmmaFaber It's not about time, it's about natural distribution. Men are naturally more disposed to logic and women are to emotions.
Your frame of mind is extremely narrow. You are looking only at the present. Not the past prior to 1600. Not to different species and their natural dispositions. How lions and their male to female relations may differ from primates.
You are stuck on your own personal grudges, and unable to truly see from others perspectives.

@JSDorn @Rhodesian_YuKari @LouisConde @weaf The Japanese can have asia, they nearly did before America started nuking them

@EmmaFaber I'm not trying to attack you here, I'm genuinely interested why you are so psychologically battered. It's a very unhealthy mindset to have

@EmmaFaber @Fullycaffeinated @Hollahollara @Jar @fuckyourmom @juneseed How old are you and how many children do you have? Is the father still there to take care of them?

@EmmaFaber @fuckyourmom @Fullycaffeinated @Hollahollara @Jar @juneseed Why are there fewer female pro chess players, card game players, etc?
I'm expecting you will just go towards saying "systems of oppression" etc, which is exactly the same logic people use for why negroes are worse intellectually than other races.

@EmmaFaber @fuckyourmom @Fullycaffeinated @Hollahollara @Jar @juneseed You want to play some chess? I'm not very good at it, but I'd probably enjoy it

Watching these walkalong Japanese videos makes me want to visit there. Unfortunately due to restrictions that probably won't happen for quite sometime.
I wouldn't want to live there, but an extended visit for a month or so would be very fun.

@histoire @icedquinn If you want something with brushwork I would suggest getting a pentel brush pen. It's just black and white, but it's a lot cheaper and easier than something like oil paints

@lolipussylicker1488 I like those kinds of things, like Ange's Katrina interview

@Shadowman311 I've been thinking about getting a dog and my mother said she would like a pitbull. I just told her to look up the videos of them attacking.
I do think there is a place for aggressive dogs for things like defending livestock, but not the ones descended from dogfighting.

What often happens is that somebody discovers something is true, consciously or unconsciously, but then so firmly roots their minds around it they are not willing to accept the idea that there may be even more truth underlying it.
My rule of thumb is never believe something 100% and never doubt something 100% because that leaves you unable to change your mind, and thus reduces your free will.
There must be some small amount of doubt and trust present, otherwise you are committing yourself to dying over that belief.

Not to say that people doing that are bad. I understand it and hope they are content committing their body and soul to that, but for me there is always the potential for a deeper understanding that I am not willing to shut off.
