Visual novels really are a great medium to tell a budget story.
Ability to give plenty of descriptive text, dialogue, internal monologue, etc.
You can still see what the characters and environment look like.
Music and sound effects to set the atmosphere.

I would go back to trying to make one myself, but I have little confidence in my storytelling ability.

@coolboymew I read that book in a 3D graphics class and remembered this passage. It's a very good book. Also, this has happened before and will happen again.

@LukeAlmighty So you also see freedom only as a means to an end, not the goal in and of itself. That's good, but if you idolize freedom, others won't get the same picture.
The left sees freedom as a means of achieving True Equality, by means of causing the worse off people to usurp the better off indefinitely.

This is why America allowed themselves to be controlled by people who do not care about freedom.

Trying to give people freedom as your goal is like giving a random child many sharp metal implements. Sure, they may construct a tool and be useful, or hurt themselves, or they can stab you in the back.

I think much of Walt Disney's perspective on religion is very good. However he also bought into the idea that "We have to respect all religions" even the ones that want to undermine his creations. He would be very disappointed in the current state of his company after it's been left in Jewish hands.

@mametsuko In Canada we don't do that, because boots track in mud and snow. I do use slippers at home though
